Become An Expert Hooker

No, not that kind of hooker.

Who knew that those ubiquitous hook and eye fastenings on all of those heritage boots could be so zippily secured? I always wondered why those fastenings were different. If this technique is any indication, it's for ease. Design-wise, it all makes sense now. And all this time I was laboring to lace them properly...

Of course, if I were an expert hooker, I would want the speediest way to put my boots on and get out the door! ;)
